On 29 November we invite all colleagues to join us for a whole day focus on developing oracy. Some schools have identified that oracy is a key barrier to learning for children in their school and addressing this is fundamental to helping children to learn. During this day Mimi Hughes from the Oracy Hub will talk about the latest research and practical examples; David Manning from Wychavon District Council will discuss the impact of oracy on improving life chances for disadvantaged children and Rachel Sénèque Inclusion Head at Bengeworth Academy will speak about benefits to SEN and disadvantaged children. There will also be a chance to hear schools talk about their successful practice. This day is open to teachers, NQTs, support teachers, subject leaders and curriculum leaders. For further information and to book visit the CPD online link.
