We have three new courses added to the website this week: Schools Finance Bitesize - Understanding Your Funding Certificate (South Gloucestershire Maintained Schools only) SF/25/029 Wednesday 5 March 2025 Part of our new Schools Finance Bitesize training programme, this short session is designed to help busy schools' business managers and anyone else invoilved in the schools' finances to gain valuable CPD in manageable chunks. Understanding Sensory Needs & Behaviour in Children & Young People - South Gloucestershire Schools Only INC/25/030 Tuesday 25 March 2025 This FREE bite sized course will explain how a good understanding of children’s sensory needs, as well as the impact of early stressful experiences on the senses, can lead to a better understanding of children and young people’s movement, behavioural and learning needs. Standardisation Training: End of KS2 Writing Expectations LIT/25/031 Wednesday 26 March 2025 This course will focus on revisiting the Teacher Assessment Framework and writing exemplification portfolios (Dani, Morgan, Leigh and Frankie) to thoroughly explore the expectations at each standard and provide reliable benchmarks for making judgements. Implications for teaching writing will be woven into the course, and writing and assessment leaders, as well as teachers, will be able to reflect on the relevance of these, for their own context.
