Terms and Conditions

By using this site to access training and professional development or any events offered by Integra you are agreeing to all terms and conditions associated with event/course places including all booking, charging and cancellation policies.

The information you provide will be stored electronically and used by Integra where appropriate for administration and statistical purposes in compliance with the 1998 Data Protection Act.

Applicants are offered two payment options to attend courses.

Governing Bodies subscribing to the Governor Development Service:

Subscription Cost

Governing Bodies and other organisations can sign up to a subscription agreement which allows a discounted rate per course, known as the 'subscription cost'.

e.g. subscription cost = £0

non-subscription cost = £30

To discuss a subscription please contact us at Governor.Services@southglos.gov.uk or call on 01454 863182.

Pay-as-you-go: Non-Subscription Cost

The fee per person attending a course on a pay-as-you-go basis is included in the detail for each course, called the 'non subscription cost'.

Fees apply to delegates attending courses from individuals/ schools/ governing bodies or other organisations who do not subscribe to a service level agreement (for example: Non SLA schools, Childminders, Early Years and Out of School settings, private and voluntary providers).

Pay-as-you-go customers will be charged after the course.

Booking arrangements

Booking requests can be made online by individuals, Clerk/named Administrator/Governor or other nominated authorising colleague.

Booking requests for governors from governing bodies who subscribe (where there is no course cost) will not require authorisation. Booking requests from governors/individuals of non-subscribing governing bodies or organisations will usually require authorisation from the person/organisation responsible for paying the fee. Authorisation can be done via the online system.

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Integra reserves the right to limit places in certain cases e.g. where specific numbers of places are available per school/setting/organisation or a mix of school phases is required for a multi phase course.

It is essential that delegates pre-book places. We reserve the right to refuse entrance to anyone who arrives for a course but has not pre-booked and received confirmation of a place. We cannot guarantee a space will be available or to have made the necessary preparations for delegates who turn up without confirmed places.

If a course is full, delegates may be put onto a waiting list and will receive an email to that effect.

If spaces become available delegates will be allocated a space on a first come first served basis and will receive an email to confirm their place.

If a delegate is unable to attend for any reason, cancellation must be received via Governor.Services@southglos.gov.uk more than 3 working days before the course date. This will give time to reallocate the space to someone on the waiting list. If a cancellation notification is not received with 3 days notice your school/setting/organisation or individual will be liable for cancellation fees.

If your school/governing body/organisation is sending another person to take the place of a delegate, you must advise Governor Services of the attendee's details. This is to ensure all appropriate administration is completed and a correct training/development record is kept for each delegate.

It is expected that delegates who sign up for multi-part courses attend all sessions. Failure to do so may result in a charge being levied.

If a delegate fails to attend or does not arrive for a course for which a confirmed place has been allocated, then the cancellation fee will be incurred.

Please refer to the Cancellation Policy for full details.

Course cancellation policy

We reserve the right to change any personnel, dates, times and venues where a delivery issue has arisen, to enable a course to go ahead. Delegates will be notified in advance.

No course will be cancelled except where it is impossible to run, for example:

Wherever possible, courses that do not go ahead due to the above reasons will be rescheduled.

The programme is planned by a team of professionals with appropriate national, local and specialist knowledge, expertise and accreditation.
