AET Early Years Programme: Good autism practice - Reception, Nurseries, Pre-school settings and Childminders

Event Description

This training has been designed to support all practitioners working directly with children on the autism spectrum to develop their practice.


The training will support practitioners working directly with children on the autism spectrum or on the pathway to a diagnosis in early years settings.


This AET training is only available to Schools, Nurseries, Pre-school settings and Childminders within South Gloucestershire.


Good autism practice is a 6 hour course that will be split over four parts as follows:


Part 1 - Tuesday 11 January 2022 - 6:30 - 8:00pm, Part 2 - Tuesday 18 January 2022 - 6:30 - 8:00pm, Part 3 - Tuesday 25 January 2022  - 6:30 - 8:00pm, Part 4 - Tuesday 1 February 2022 6:30 - 8:00pm


Delegates will be contacted three days before the session with details of how to access the online training, which will be sent via a link to the email address on your CPD Online account. Please ensure that the email address you have registered with is correct. If it needs changing this can be done via your CPD Online account or please contact the Training Admin Team on 01454 863183. Only the actual delegate booked onto the course will be able to participate and must announce themselves by confirming their name and school in the group chat.

  • To develop your knowledge and understanding of good autism practice

  • To reflect on and improve your practice through guidelines and activities

  • How to use the autism competency framework to evaluate and develop how you work

  • Delegate will receive a certificate. this training is DfE approved.
