This course is for SAS only.

This session is designed to support teaching assistants to be fully prepared to provide high quality maths support to all children.

There will be an opportunity to explore subject knowledge in some areas as well as looking at effective strategies for working with children.

There will be a focus on the basis of place value and methods of calculation as well as modelling for effective use of resources to scaffold learning. 

Supporting small group and individual child instruction through effective questioning will also be explored. 

Delegates will be contacted three days before the session with details of how to access the online training, which will be sent via a link to the email address on your CPD Online account. Only the actual delegate booked onto the course will be able to participate and must announce themselves by confirming their name and school in the group chat.
