Event Description

Civica is the accounting software used by South Glos Council. This session will take users through the General Ledger and Purchasing side of the system.


We will cover
- how to run a payroll enquiry
- how to run a high level accounting enquiry
- how to search for a creditor invoice/transaction including payments
- how to recode items
- how to save ‘favourites’
- overview of Civica reports
- how to raise a purchase requisition
- how to raise a goods received note
- how to cancel a purchase order/requisition/GRED
- how to review commitments


There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions during the session.


Open to all school staff who use Civica but specifically useful to new users.


The cost for this course is £30 per delegate for South Gloucestershire maintained schools and £45 for all others.


Delegates will be contacted three days before the session with details of how to access the online training, which will be sent via a link to the email address on your CPD Online account.
