This session is aimed at School Administrators and Headteachers. It will ensure schools apply STP&CD rules in relation to:

• Calculating contractual hours of part time teachers


• Calculating non-teaching directed time for part time teachers


• Requiring part time teachers to attend inset/staff meetings/parents evenings, etc

This course is suitable for primary and secondary teachers.

There have been a number of changes to the Writing Interim Framework for 2018. The exemplification
materials have been updated to reflect these and new STA materials will be available in the spring term.  

This twilight will provide an overview of the changes at all three standards, supporting teachers and senior leaders to ensure that they have an accurate interpretation of the assessment criteria and are able to make appropriate judgements based on the evidence available.

Learning outside the classroom has always been an integral part of a child’s education, providing the opportunity to develop key personal and social skills. The role of an Educational Visits Coordinator (EVC) is to help the school fulfil its Health and Safety obligations for off-site school visits, by being involved in the planning and management of all educational visits.

This one day course supports designated EVCs in carrying out their duties effectively.
 

These are free sessions held 4 times during the year. NQTs can meet with the NQT adviser to discuss any issues they may be having. It is also the opportunity to share resources and ideas and meet other NQT’s. Please bring along anything you would like to share this can be in the form of pictures, documents or just you telling us about them.

This event comprises an overview of ICT teaching and the Computing curriculum; progression within computing teaching with a focus on the programming strand. There will be opportunities to look at the contribution of ICT to other subjects. . There will be an initial whole group input on online safety followed by splitting into key stages to consider specific activities for the programming strand.

These surgeries provide an opportunity for Y2 teachers to discuss any pupils they would like support to assess in reading, writing and maths. Teachers can bring along children’s evidence and work alongside the LA moderator, who will provide advice and guidance.

These sessions are one to one with two places available per time slot, however a school can send 2 teachers on each booking - please note the name of your second delegate in the Booking Requirements section. If you wish for more than 2 teachers to attend then a chargeable booking will need to be made for each pair.< ...
