The Financial Regulations for Schools have been refreshed and updated to reflect current practice. A consultation providing an opportunity to comment on their contents ended on the 30th January 2019. The Regulations are now effective and must be followed with immediate effect.

The Regulations apply to all maintained schools. Headteachers and Finance Staff within a school need a diverse range of financial knowledge, it is essential that they are familiar with, and able to apply good systems of internal control.

This 1 day course is for staff who may lead or train other staff in their setting - focuses on developing good autism provision.

This half day course will support subject leaders in reflect on current school moderation practice
of mathematics. There will be time to discuss what a robust evidence base for pupils’ looks like including the use of tests. There will be time to carry out some cross school moderation. The focus will be on the non-statutory reporting groups – y1, 3, 4 and 5 at the end of term 6.

The approach changed back in 2008 which gave clear guidance on how a part time teachers’ pay should be
calculated. STPCD recognised that all schools’ timetables are different and determined that a part time teachers’ pay should be calculated proportionately in relation to the teaching time of a full time teacher in the same school.
