AET schools programme - Good autism practice
This is a 1 session course

This one day session is designed for all staff working directly with autistic pupils, including teachers, teaching assistants and lunchtime staff.


This training will broaden your understanding of autism and provide you with tools and strategies for everyday use in the classroom.

Getting part time teachers' pay right
This is a 1 session course


The approach changed back in 2008 which gave clear guidance on how a part time teachers’ pay should be
calculated. STPCD recognised that all schools’ timetables are different and determined that a part time teachers’ pay should be calculated proportionately in relation to the teaching time of a full time teacher in the same school.

SIMS Office User - Basic
This is a 1 session course

Assessment Manager - Essential Skills (EVENT FULL)
This is a 2 session course
This course is for new users of assessment at secondary phase settings, particularly colleagues who have a role translating the ideas of the school's Data Manager into reality, using Assessment Manager. This course is all about putting policy into action. It will cover all the essential skills in the use of the software and does not dwell on school assessment strategy. This is a two day course.

This is a 1 session course

This one-day course meets the requirements of the HSE syllabus and covers the HSE Recommendations for training of an Appointed Person (the minimum requirement for first aid cover at work. Topics include CPR, dealing with an unconsciousness casualty, choking and Major Bleeding. Time is also given to discussing injuries and ailments common in the workplace, both inside and outside the school.
