Primary Maths Subject Leader Development
This is a 2 session course

New for this year we are running Maths Subject Leader meetings as a whole day in term 2 and a half day in term 4 instead of 3 separate sessions at the request of schools.


There will be an overarching theme that runs through the meetings of raising pupil standards in oracy and reasoning. At each meeting we will look at the latest research, key mesages from DfE and Ofsted as well as the  Education Endowment Foundation.

This course is predominantly classroom based. It will increase your knowledge & understanding of
the basic swimming requirements in a primary school swimming programme and health & safety

Getting part time teachers' pay right
This is a 1 session course


The approach changed back in 2008 which gave clear guidance on how a part time teachers’ pay should be
calculated. STPCD recognised that all schools’ timetables are different and determined that a part time teachers’ pay should be calculated proportionately in relation to the teaching time of a full time teacher in the same school.

It's Good to Talk Conference - focus on wellbeing and oracy

Our two day conference is aimed at anyone who has responsibility for pupil or school wellbeing and anyone who is looking to promote or further develop oracy in their teaching or school.
