The course consists of two separate sessions, am & pm - delegates should attend for the whole day.

The Special Education Needs (SEN) software in SIMS enables the SENCo to manage the recording of all aspects of the SEN process in accordance with the requirements of the code of practice, building on information already held in SIMS such as pupil addresses, contacts and academic information and also enables the recording of the details of external specialists and organisations.

Lego-based Therapy is a Social Communication programme that can benefit all children and young people age 5 and upwards. It can particularly benefit

• Children on the Autistic Spectrum

• Children with ADHD

• Children suffering from Anxiety

• Children with Behavioural and emotional needs

• Children with Language Difficulties

• Children with low confidence/ self-esteem

This occasional event will look at latest publication to discuss their implications. Our first virtual meeting will be on May 15th and will focus on EEF Special Needs in Mainstream Classrooms – Guidance Report

The report describes the five key evidence based recommendations and then illustrates how these could be used in your school using case studies, evaluation tools, and practical strategies- this is an important report and will be invaluable for head teachers and SENCOs.

This is a FREE course.

Over term 5 there will be an opportunity for any staff from Inclusion subscribing schools to book onto the online training programmes for free. These sessions are suitable for all teachers and TAs, they will also be of interest to SENCOs. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

These presentations are ‘golden oldies’ and are still frequently requested, this is a great opportunity for colleagues to refresh their knowledge.
