To celebrate World Maths Day Integra are running a day of activities that all schools can buy into and will be run remotely using teams. World Maths Day has been running for a number of years and this year it is on 15th October. It is a day to have some real fun with maths. Our event theme is number systems around the world.
The day has been designed so that both teachers and children will get the opportunity to do some maths with us during the day.

This session is aimed at any teacher who wants to feel more confident when it comes to planning a writing teaching sequence. The session will firstly consider how to create an effective long term plan for the year, thinking about quality texts and writing outcomes.  It will then move on to looking at the teaching sequence for a unit of work, demonstrating how to engage pupils in the unit; how to teach grammatical skills in context and how to plan appropriate writing opportunities, all modelled through an example.

In this experiential workshop you will find out what causes stress, the results of stress, recognise internal and external stressors, and look at positive ways of dealing with stress. We take a look at anger as an emotion, and contributor to stress, and how to manage anger in a constructive way. Finally we look at the importance of mindfulness in support of wellbeing and will experience some relaxation exercises.

This hour long briefing session will support colleagues in years 3 and 4 in understanding the coherence between the new maths non statutory guidance published in July 2020 and the national curriculum.

The briefing will be suitable for anyone teaching in Year 3 and Year 4, both teachers and teaching assistants.

This course will support all Year 6 teachers in developing their subject knowledge and expertise in relation to supporting pupils to reach age-related expectations in reading. The session will explore the key skills needed to reach the expected standard and strategies for teaching reading effectively, as well as considering learning from previous reading SATs papers.
