This briefing is aimed at all year 6 teachers and senior
leaders in school and will cover the following
aspects:

This half-day, hands on course will provide you with the knowledge you need to be able to produce your budget using HCSS Budgeting. You will learn how to enter the brought forward balance(s), employees, pupil numbers & funding and other income and expenditure.

This Legionella Awareness course is designed to help employers, workers and duty holders, such as business managers, caretakers and site managers, understand the severity of legionella so that they can determine their responsibilities, identify the risks and ensure appropriate control measures are put in place.

This course provides an opportunity for Y2 teachers to engage in writing moderation using the Interim Framework.  There will be opportunities to assess and discuss shared portfolios of writing, as well as working alongside colleagues to moderate writing from your own class. This provides a valuable opportunity to engage in external moderation and to ensure that teacher assessment judgements are in line with national expectations.

To attend this half day training course, for both Primary and secondary settings, the following criteria must be met.

1. You have previously attended an EVC training course but require refresher training to enable to carrying out your duties effectively.

Or

2. You have previously attended the full day School Visits Leaders Course.
