The ability to manage difficult child protection, disciplinary allegations is crucial to the provision of safeguarding within the school/academy setting. On this course, you will learn how to manage these difficult situations, and ensure that each occasion is dealt with to the minimise risk . The legal duty on schools to refer cases to the Disclosure and Barring Service will also be explored, along with their expectations. The South Gloucestershire LADO, Tina Wilson, will also be in attendance to provide you with further insight into this key area.

Cost centres can be used in CIVICA to record transactions for specific areas of income or expenditure, for example pupil premium, PE Grant, SEND or extended services. Using cost centres properly can reduce the need for supplementary spreadsheets, reduce reconciling queries, assist with statutory reporting, improve transparency, support Governor monitoring and informed decision making.
