These surgeries provide an opportunity for teachers to discuss any pupils they would like support to assess. Year 6 teachers can bring along children's writing evidence and work alongside the LA moderator, who will provide advice and guidance about assessment and next steps in learning, as well as anything else that may be useful (such as planning ideas, text recommendations etc.)

Once again we are fortunate to have Tom Holloway lead the science subject leader network meetings. Tom will support you as a science leader to ensure that you are fully informed on the most up to date national and local research and guidance for the teaching and learning of science. At each meeting there will also be a focus on a core aspect of the science national curriculum.

Cohesion is one of the most significant writing issues that has come to the fore since the pandemic.
