This course provides an opportunity for Y6 teachers to engage in writing moderation using the Interim Framework.  There will be opportunities to assess and discuss shared portfolios of writing, as well as working alongside colleagues to moderate writing from your own class. This provides a valuable opportunity to engage in external moderation and to ensure that teacher assessment judgements are in line with national expectations.

Educational Visit Co-ordinator Training
This is a 1 session course

Learning outside the classroom has always been an integral part of a child’s education, providing the opportunity to develop key personal and social skills. The role of an Educational Visits Coordinator (EVC) is to help the school fulfil its Health and Safety obligations for off-site school visits, by being involved in the planning and management of all educational visits.

This one day course supports designated EVCs in carrying out their duties effectively.

Emergency First Aid (EVENT FULL)
This is a 1 session course
This one-day course meets the requirements of the HSE syllabus and covers the HSE Recommendations for training of an Appointed Person (the minimum requirement for first aid cover at work.

Topics include CPR, dealing with an unconsciousness casualty, choking and Major Bleeding. Time is also given to discussing injuries and ailments common in the workplace, both inside and outside the school.

Emphasis is placed on individual and group practice of the skills needed in

Advanced SIMS Reporting for All Schools
This is a 1 session course
This course will cover SIMS Reporting to support day to day administration reporting procedures for those who have had some experience in the use of the reporting engine. It is important that delegates have either attended the basic reporting course or are confident users of SIMS reporting. This course is a full day to allow plenty of time to practise.
Essential Information: Please bring along any memory sticks as any reports you design on the day can be taken away with you and imported into your own SIMS system.

NQTs Twilight: Dyslexia Inclusive Classrooms
This is a 1 session course

This course is for both newly qualified teachers and those that have recently qualified or have returned to teaching after a break. The course is suitable for both Primary AND Secondary staff.

In this session we aim to enable you to feel confident in understanding how dyslexia effects the learning of your pupils and what you can do to make a difference.

Each spring, the Integra IMS support team hosts a primary user-group event that seeks to support schools make the best use of their SIMS investment and provide key updates. For this year’s conference, we have invited product managers from Capita SIMS to show us, first hand, recent developments and planned improvements.
 
This Conference is open to SIMs subscribing and non subscribing schools. 
Essential Information: There is no cost to attend the event if you are from a subscribing school. Lunch will not be provided if you plan to stay all day. Please book on the morning session too, if you want to attend in the morning as well. Staff can see exactly which segments they might wish to attend and are welcome to join us for some or all of the segments - see the attached document at top right of this page.
