Online Mathematics Catch-up Briefing - Year 3
This is a 1 session course

We are aware that schools are concerned about the mathematics learning that children are missing out on and the increasing gaps this may create in the current crisis. In order to support schools with this issue we are putting on year group briefings.


The purpose of this briefing is:·



  • To provide ideas to help you identify gaps· 

  • To provide quick assessment tools

  • To offer activities that will provide a quick win to help you to fill gaps in learning·

  • To support a smooth transition between year groups

NQT end of year processes briefing

This year has been a very challenging for all of us and none more so than our NQTS. For many the final phase of their induction has been a very unusual time. It is only over the last few weeks that some of our teachers have returned to the classroom and are resuming some level of normal routine.

Year 3 English Transition Unit

In order to support a return to the English curriculum in September, we have written a transition unit to support Year 3 teachers. 


The unit is based on a high quality text and corresponding film, with the intention that it can be used flexibly (both for school or blended learning).
