Completing your induction year can be a challenging but very rewarding experience.  We recognise how important it can be to network with other NQTs.   This free surgery will give you the opportunity to share any issues or successes with the NQT adviser.  It will also give you an opportunity to network with other NQTs , share ideas and discuss how your year is going.  

As you are aware all year 4 pupils will have to sit the multiplication check starting 7 June 2021 and available to do over three weeks.

This course will cover:

• Practical ideas to support retention of multiplication facts
• Available resources
• Ideas for teaching sequences and catch up
• Engaging parents in supporting their child at home

This year we are running one hour twilight online maths subject leader briefings.

This meeting will support maths leaders with keeping up to date with the latest national and local news in the mathematics world. It will enable maths leaders to be fully aware of the latest research, national reports and guidance as well as any aspects of statutory assessment that they may be involved in for 2020-21 cycle.

This two session online course will support teachers in developing their subject knowledge with a focus on mathematical gaps from year 5 and how to address them. We will support you to develop your teaching sequence to ensure that you provide opportunities for children to demonstrate that they meet the expectations for mathematics.
