This course explores how the Course Manager functionality of SIMS links areas such as Nova-T, Academic Management and Examinations Organiser, including procedures for supporting the maintenance of Post-16 learning aims. It is particularly aimed at school with post 16 students.
The course is advertised as a whole day but may finish earlier, depending on the requirements of delegates.

Timetabling Using Nova T6
This is a 4 session course
This four day course is a very practical, hands-on introduction to timetabling. It will lead colleagues who are new, or relatively new, through the whole process of timetabling and covers:

  • resourcing
  • devising the most appropriate curriculum structure and staffing
  • getting information from departments
  • entering all data into the computer program
  • constructing the timetable; analysing and scheduling
  • producing printed timetables.

Throughout, the course uses Nova-T6. If needed, further details are available from the IMS ...
