Year 4 and 5 Getting the maths right
This is a 1 session course

This half
day course will support teachers in years 4 and 
5 in becoming more familiar with the expectations of the maths curriculum
for both year 4 and 5. It will explore how to teach the tricky parts of the
curriculum, how to ensure a smooth transition between year groups and how to
challenge the more able pupils.

Primary Art Best Practice
This is a 2 session course

A practical, hands on two part course, exploring mark making through a variety of materials and surfaces, whilst looking at how different Artists have used Drawing.

During the first session we will look at a range of drawing techniques and styles, promoting the confident teaching of Art as an extra language.

In the second session will put these skills into practice, but with a less conventional approach, allowing for a more open exploration which can be easily adapted to Topics and individual needs and strengths.

Ethnic Minority and Traveller Achievement Service Network Meeting
This is a 1 session course

This network is a group of school staff leading on Black and Minority Ethnic (BME), English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Gypsy, Roma, Travelller (GRT) support and leading on an inclusive curricula. The group comes together to share and borrow ideas to improve outcomes for BME/EAL/GRT pupils. The network is facilitated by EMTAS Advisory Teachers who have experience and expertise in this field.

Safer Recruitment (EVENT FULL)
