This course is suitable for teachers in primary schools.

This session is all about how maths can be adapted to feel real and useful for pupils. It will include how to plan problem solving lessons, activities to support all areas of problem solving including effective mental orals and plenaries, and AFL strategies. This session is for NQT’s in KS2

This is a 2 session course
This a two-day course originally approved and controlled by the National Childminders Association and the Pre-School Learning Alliance. Required by SureStart and the DFEE for those having the care of children up to the age of eight , is valid for children of all ages. Y6 Writing Moderation
This is a 1 session course

This course provides an opportunity for Y6 teachers to engage in writing moderation using the Interim Framework.  There will be opportunities to assess and discuss shared portfolios of writing, as well as working alongside colleagues to moderate writing from your own class. This provides a valuable opportunity to engage in external moderation and to ensure that teacher assessment judgements are in line with national expectations.

Educational Visit Co-ordinator Training
This is a 1 session course

Learning outside the classroom has always been an integral part of a child’s education, providing the opportunity to develop key personal and social skills. The role of an Educational Visits Coordinator (EVC) is to help the school fulfil its Health and Safety obligations for off-site school visits, by being involved in the planning and management of all educational visits.

This one-day course meets the requirements of the HSE syllabus and covers the HSE Recommendations for training of an Appointed Person (the minimum requirement for first aid cover at work.

Advanced SIMS Reporting for All Schools
This is a 1 session course
This course will cover SIMS Reporting to support day to day administration reporting procedures for those who have had some experience in the use of the reporting engine. It is important that delegates have either attended the basic reporting course or are confident users of SIMS reporting. This course is a full day to allow plenty of time to practise.
