Year 2 and Year 6 Moderation Surgeries (EVENT FULL)

These surgeries provide an opportunity for teachers to discuss any pupils they would like support to assess. Teachers can bring along children's writing evidence and work alongside the LA moderator, who will provide advice and guidance about assessment and next steps in learning, as well as anything else that may be useful (such as planning ideas, text recommendations etc.)

Each session is on a 1:1 basis so only one person per school should book. Schools may send a second Year 6/Year 2 teacher at no extra cost - please just add the name of any extra delegate into the booking require ...

Essential Information: If you haven't already added this to your booking, please confirm whether you are attending as a Year 2 or Year 6 teacher. Attending teachers will need to scan examples of a range of writing prior to the session so that these can be shared with the moderator via screen-sharing. Schools Financial Value Standard (SFVS) - South Gloucestershire Maintained Schools Online

The SFVS is a compulsory document that has to be submitted annually to Internal Audit.

This course will develop your knowledge and understanding of the SFVS requirements, including the statutory responsibility for completion. You will receive advice and guidance on the sources of evidence and assurance that is required and considers how you can work effectively with Governors.

The deadline for SFVS submission is 31 March 2024.
