Teachers can bring along children's writing evidence and work alongside the LA moderator, who will provide advice and guidance about assessment and next steps in learning, as well as anything else that may be useful (such as planning ideas, text recommendations etc.)

SAS - Planning a Writing Unit - REVISED DATE

The first half of this whole-day course will focus on the key elements of the writing curriculum; what constitutes an effective teaching sequence and how to ensure the provision of appropriate opportunities for writing. With the largest percentage of every school’s expenditure being on staffing costs, it is essential that all schools undertake regular payroll reconciliations. A good payroll reconciliation will be thorough check of expected employee costs per month to actual employee costs.
