Emergency First Aid

This one-day course meets the requirements of the HSE syllabus and covers the HSE Recommendations for training of an Appointed Person (the minimum requirement for first aid cover at work. Topics include CPR, dealing with an unconsciousness casualty, choking and Major Bleeding. Time is also given to discussing injuries and ailments common in the workplace, both inside and outside the school. Maintaining the Timetable in T6/Academic Management
This course offers those unfamiliar with T6 the opportunity to work through a number of exercises to support timetable changes during the year. Combined with this course will be complete coverage of how best to use academic management to manage pupil class membership in SIMS.
Delegates wishing to attend for only half of the course should contact the course facilitator prior to the date.

Course Manager (EVENT FULL)

This course explores how the Course Manager functionality of SIMS links areas such as Nova-T, Academic Management and Examinations Organiser, including procedures for supporting the maintenance of Post-16 learning aims. It is particularly aimed at school with post 16 students.
