Support group for SENCo's at schools subscribing to Inclusion Support

The course will cover SIMS Reporting to support day-to-day administration reporting procedures. This course is a full day to allow for plenty of time to practise. Please bring along any memory sticks as any reports you design on the day can be taken away with you and imported into your own SIMS system.

This half day course is suitable for all teachers in KS2. Colleagues will explore a teaching sequence that guarantees timely application of grammar skills. Colleagues will map out units of work and develop strategies to help them select the best possible writing outcome for end of unit pieces and writing that applies specific grammar.

In these three half day sessions new subject leaders will be supported
to develop their leadership skills through a focus on subject knowledge and
strategies for monitoring pupil progress. They will discuss how these can be
used to hold teachers to account and support pupils to catch up. There will
also be a focus on effective intervention strategies to accelerate pupil
progress for those who are falling behind. Leaders will work together using
their own school information.

This three half-day course supports colleagues who become familiar with the new maths teacher assessment framework for year 2 and how to manage this alongside teaching the full national curriculum.

The first session will take place in term 2 and will focus on the new framework, mapping against the national curriculum, activities for working towards and working at.

This is a 3 session course over the year. At each meeting there will be time to ensure that maths subject leaders are up to date with key national and local information including Ofsted and DFE updates, data and assessment. There will be time to work on bespoke aspects as identified by members of the group. All of this will be alongside developing the strategic role of the subject leader such as action planning, delivering CDP, supporting teaching and learning. ...

In this half day session colleagues will be provided with an overview of Analyse School Performance (ASP) and the Inspection Data Summary Report (IDSR).

This will be followed by discussion and analysis about what your school data shows.

In this experiential workshop you will find out what causes stress, the results of stress, recognise internal and external stressors, and look at positive ways of dealing with stress. We take a look at anger as an emotion, and contributor to stress, and how to manage anger in aconstructive way. Finally we look at the importance of mindfulness in support of wellbeing and will experience some relaxation exercises.

This course is for experienced Excel users that would like to extend their skills in SIMS reporting with Excel Analysis.

This one day session is designed for all staff working directly with autistic pupils, including teachers, teaching assistants and lunchtime staff.
