Part time Teachers workshop

This session is aimed at School Administrators and Headteachers. It will ensure schools apply STP&CD rules in relation to:

  • Calculating contractual hours of part time teachers
  • Calculating non-teaching directed time for part time teachers
  • Requiring part time teachers to attend inset/staff meetings/parents evenings, etc
Essential Information: The charge is £80 per person for those schools subscribing to the HR for Schools and Academies Service, or £110 per person to schools that do not subscribe.

Assessment at KS4 in SIMS

In response to the rapid changes occurring in national assessment initiatives, Capita SIMS has provided a suite of additional Key Stage 4 (KS4) resources which may be imported and used to calculate headline figures for internal assessments. The resources will also enable schools to identify students who are underachieving in any of the key groups.

Essential Information: Please restrict attendees to a maximum of two from your school. Some schools may need to share a workstation on the day. We will start promptly at 9:00 and expect the course to end around 13:00. No lunch will be provided. This event is free to attend, for the first delegate attending from settings that subscribe to the IMS team's support service. There is a charge for any additional delegate attending the same event.
