This year we are offering schools an opportunity for your year 2 teachers to have a 1:1 moderation surgery for your key stage 1 pupils working at level 3 with one of the LA lead moderators.
Each surgery is an hour long.
Only two schools may book per surgery - if this time slot is already booked please see alternative time slots. You may send 2 members of staff to this surgery (you will not be charged for the second delegate). Please book in the name of one staff member and add the name of the 2nd delegate in the Notes section of your booking.

NQT Developing Teaching and Learning Skills: Primary Languages
It is exciting times in primary languages with the changes in the new curriculum bringing compulsory KS2 languages back. This session will give you a basic toolkit of strategies and approaches to teaching languages in Key Stage 2, and ideas for starting sooner in KS1. It will include an overview of the Key Stage 2 framework for languages, still recommended for developing good practice as well as ideas and activities that will help you to make language teaching in your classroom fun and effective at whatever age.
Please bring a copy of the School management structure and any Whole School Objectives to help setup the school during the session.

This full day course is an enjoyable day, which raises participants' confidence in carrying out emergency first aid. It is a balance of theory presented in a lively accessible format, a practical session in which everyone is encouraged to participate, practice and improve the skills learnt. The course provides certification to the first aider or appointed person(s) in school in low risk organisations. This training meets the requirements for First Aider.
