This briefing will provide an overview of statutory expectations for year 2 and year 6.

This briefing will support all year 2 teachers in statutory assessment for 2020. As part of the session we will look at the feedback and key messages from 2019 moderation, mapping your curriculum to ensure that you meet the TA frameworks for maths, writing and reading curriculum. There will be time to ask questions and as well as a sharing of resources.

This briefing will support all year 6 teachers in statutory assessment for 2020. As part of the session we will look at the feedback and key messages from 2019 moderation, feedback from SATs from last year and requirements for 2020. The session will also share the new STA training materials for writing for 2020.

This one day course supports designated School Visit Leaders in both Primary and Secondary settings to carrying out their duties effectively. Theory is covered in the morning and the afternoon session comprises a practical activity to reinforce and confirm those principles.

This briefing is aimed at all year 6 teachers. The briefing will cover the key messages from the Assessment and Reporting Arrangements for 2020, together with key messages about moderation and end of year reporting.

This is the first event of our new Primary Music Co-ordinators Network. It is an opportunity for us to meet and share ideas, experiences and best practise. At this event, Mark Trego, our interim strategic lead, will also provide training and tips on how to prepare for a music deep dive.

This half day course is suitable for teachers in KS1 and KS2. Reading features throughout the new Ofsted Framework and many teachers are unsure of how to discretely teach the skills which are required to be a secure reader. Therefore, this course provides delegates the opportunity to explore a range of strategies to support the teaching of comprehension. The course will also help colleagues to structure guided or whole class reading sessions. There will be opportunies to share good practice and reflect on future changes to delegates' own teaching of reading.
