The course will support users who have direct responsibility in Secondary schools for maintaining courses for the purpose of School Census and managing Course Supervisors. Accurate recording of courses and exam results is essential for school's post-16 funding as well as impacting on the work of the Assessment Co-ordinator and Exams Officer. Down Syndrome Support Group
This group will meet for six sessions per year and aims to offer support for colleagues working with children with Down Syndrome. Sessions in terms 1, 3 and 5 will be taught sessions. The agendas will be flexible to respond to participant's needs as well as offering direct training from outside agencies. The remaining sessions will be less formal support sessions where colleagues can talk, share and reflect on experiences.
