Ladder & Steps and Working at Height - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (including hard hat, safety boots)
For school staff who work at height using ladders and step ladders in the workplace. It will provide an overview of relevant health and safety law, including employers and employees responsibilities and look at the safe use, inspection, storage and maintenance of equipment. You will conduct a risk assessment, do some practical work and look at the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
