This course aims to help administrative staff get the most from their SIMS system in terms of productivity and efficiency. We will look at maintaining a tidy database by removing duplicates. Also covered will be methods of internal communication within SIMS, creation of tailored User Defined Fields as well as other time saving hints like setting up shortcuts within SIMS .net.

In this session you will consider:

• The range and nature of needs in your classrooms
• Strategies and approaches that will support children
• Sources of information and support.

In this experiential workshop you will find out what causes stress, the results of stress, recognise internal and external stressors, and look at positive ways of dealing with stress. We take a look at anger as an emotion, and contributor to stress, and how to manage anger in a constructive way. Finally we look at the importance of
mindfulness in support of wellbeing and will experience some relaxation exercises.

The course consists of two separate sessions, am & pm - delegates should attend for the whole day.

The Special Education Needs (SEN) software in SIMS enables the SENCo to manage the recording of all aspects of the SEN process in accordance with the requirements of the code of practice, building on information already held in SIMS such as pupil addresses, contacts and academic information and also enables the recording of the details of external specialists and organisations.

practice in Early Years and Accessibility/Managing Children with Physical
Disability and Medical needs.

An interactive half-day course with activities, exercises, quizzes, case studies and group work covering various problem areas encountered with medicines management and competency assessment in schools.

the basic swimming requirements in a primary school swimming programme and health & safety
aspects in and around the pool area. This course will provide you with help and guidance on how to teach beginners to swim, developing through to the teaching of recognised strokes and water
