Getting part time teachers' pay right


The approach changed back in 2008 which gave clear guidance on how a part time teachers’ pay should be
calculated. STPCD recognised that all schools’ timetables are different and determined that a part time teachers’ pay should be calculated proportionately in relation to the teaching time of a full time teacher in the same school.

Developing the Curriculum - Engaging writing at KS1

This half day course is suitable for all teachers in KS1. The main outcomes for delegates will be an understanding of the 'Talk for Writing' approach; an ability to plan a teaching sequence which ensures balance of oral retelling, developing story language and KS1 grammar and a confidence in using modelled and shared writing to improve outcomes.

SIMS Exams Organiser - External Exams
This course is for exam officers wishing to make the most of the Exams Organiser module in SIMS to manage external exams. This course is for new users or those wishing to consolidate their skills. The software will allow schools to make use of the seating planner in Exams Organiser to manage the effective seating of pupils.
