Advanced SIMS Reporting for All Schools (EVENT FULL)
This course will cover SIMS Reporting to support day to day administration reporting procedures for those who have had some experience in the use of the reporting engine.
It is important that delegates have either attended the basic reporting course or are confident users of SIMS reporting. This course is a full day to allow plenty of time to practise. Please bring along any memory sticks as any reports you design on the day can be taken away with you and imported into your own SIMS system.

Secondary Sociology Best Practice Forum
This course provides CPD for all those who deliver Sociology, from experienced lecturers to NQTs and those teaching Sociology as a second or even third subject in their timetable.
It will include information, discussion and sharing practice based on the needs of delegates, to include presentations from teachers and visiting speakers. Content will include exam specifications, assessment objectives, subject content, and planning and pedagogy at GCSE and A level.
There will be opportunities for the group to split where schools do not offer both levels of qualification.

This half day workshop will provide support and advice to participants in effective teacher assessment in Year 6. It will help participants in levelling and moderating pupil's everyday class work. It is aimed at teachers new or returning to Year 6.

NQT Developing Teaching and Learning Skills: EYFS 2 Planning for Challenge in Learning
How do you plan to meet the children's interests and also to ensure coverage of a stimulating age appropriate curriculum? This session will include ways of recording learning through observation, dialogue and incorporating this into planning. We will focus on how to use observations to assess learning and plan next steps for children. NQTs will also have an opportunity to attend a series of 6 network meetings for teachers new / returning to reception, as well as stand alone Profile training.
