The Complete Maths Planning and Assessment Toolkit for Year 2 Teachers

These 3 online sessions will focus on supporting Year 2 teachers through the year with planning, teaching and assessing both the national curriculum and the teacher assessment framework for maths.

Session 1 will focus on the statutory assessment aspect of maths including the KS1 tests and moderation.
Session 2 will focus on key aspects of Y2 subject knowledge.
Session 3 will support teachers with moderation and planning for gaps.

As part of the course, you will receive additional resources to support you to develop this aspect of maths in your school/classroom.

Year 6 Writing Moderation 1:1 Surgery (EVENT FULL)

These surgeries provide an opportunity for teachers to discuss any pupils they would like support to assess. Year 6 teachers can bring along children's writing evidence and work alongside the LA moderator, who will provide advice and guidance about assessment and next steps in learning, as well as anything else that may be useful (such as planning ideas, text recommendations etc.)
