SAS - Assessment Yr 2 - Meeting Expectations in Reading and Maths - Stroud Association Schools Only

Teachers need to make a teacher assessment for maths and reading as well as writing using the national teacher frameworks in reading, writing and maths.

KS1 Statutory Assessment Briefing for 2022-2023 for Year 2 Teachers

In June 2023 all Year 2 teachers will need to make a teacher assessment using the national teacher frameworks in reading, writing and maths.  As in 2022, Year 2 teachers need to be familiar with the teacher assessment frameworks as well as the reading and maths tests. There will also be the continuation of external moderation visits to a sample of schools in June 2023.

This twilight is for all year 2 teachers to be make sure they are up to date with the statutory requirements for assessment for 2023 and are aware of the feedback from visits from this year’s cycle.

Science Subject Leader Twilight Network Meeting 1

Tom Holloway from the Primary Science Trust will lead this session.
