Year 6 Writing Moderation 1:1 Surgery (EVENT FULL)

These surgeries provide an opportunity for teachers to discuss any pupils they would like support to assess. Year 6 teachers can bring along children's writing evidence and work alongside the LA moderator, who will provide advice and guidance about assessment and next steps in learning, as well as anything else that may be useful (such as planning ideas, text recommendations etc.)

Getting part time teachers' pay right

The approach changed back in 2008 which gave clear guidance on how a part time teachers’ pay should be

Science Subject Leader Twilight Network Meeting 2

Tom Holloway from the Primary Science Trust will lead this session.

We are keen to reconnect our science leaders and make science exciting again in school for both teaching staff and pupils.

KS1 Statutory Assessment Briefing for 2022-2023 for Year 2 Teachers (repeat session)

Please note that this is a repeat of the course that was run on 28 November. So, if you attended that session you will not need not attend this one.

In June 2023 all Year 2 teachers will need to make a teacher assessment using the national teacher frameworks in reading, writing and maths.  As in 2022, Year 2 teachers need to be familiar with the teacher assessment frameworks as well as the reading and maths tests.
