Year 2 Moderation Surgeries

These surgeries provide an opportunity for Y2 teachers to discuss any pupils they would like support to assess in reading, writing and maths. Teachers can bring along children’s evidence and work alongside the LA moderator, who will provide advice and guidance.

These sessions are one to one with two places available per time slot, however a school can send 2 teachers on each booking - please note the name of your second delegate in the Booking Requirements section. This four day course is a very practical, hands-on introduction to timetabling. It will lead colleagues who are new, or relatively new, through the whole process of timetabling and covers:
  • resourcing
  • devising the most appropriate curriculum structure and staffing
  • getting information from departments
  • entering all data into the computer program
  • constructing the timetable; analysing and scheduling
  • producing printed timetables.
