NQT Developing Teaching and Learning Skills: Inclusion 2: Working with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
This session will help you meet the needs of children in your classroom who may have particular learning difficulties. Many of the strategies are appropriate for all pupils, whether 'labelled' with a particular condition or not, and using them will make your classroom a more inclusive environment for all children. This will include looking at differentiation ensuring that account is taken of the SEND code of practice. Inevitably this will also include how to effectively use any additional support you may have in your classroom.
