This forum meets three times during the year and is an opportunity for assessment subject leaders to keep up to date and share practice. Each session includes local and national updates, a chance to share resources and ideas and a main training session on a key area of development. This year the main focus will be on supporting schools with assessing the new national curriculum.

Timetabling Using Nova T6 (EVENT FULL)
This 4-day course is a very practical, hands-on introduction to timetabling. It will lead colleagues who are new, or relatively new, to timetabling through the whole process: from resourcing, devising the most appropriate curriculum structure; staffing; getting information from departments; entering all data into the computer program; constructing the timetable; analysing and scheduling; and producing printed timetables.
Throughout, it will be based on and will use NOVA -T6.

There is a requirement to attend all four of the days.
Good numeracy skills enable pupils to be confident and thrive in subjects way beyond their maths lessons and into their lives outside school. This session will concentrate on games and activities to engage pupils in the mastery of calculation, easily adaptable for a variety of subject content. It will include advice on building a maths rich classroom and wider school environment. This session is for those teaching in EYFS & KS1.
