This forum is designed to stimulate thinking and give access to high quality developments in the field of curriculum design, securing student progress and raising levels of achievement. It is aimed at senior leaders with responsibility for these areas and will draw upon their own expertise and work.
The forum will focus on the latest educational developments related to the 11-19 phases. Precise themes for each of the sessions will be determined nearer the time but are likely to focus on quality assurance processes that inform improvement and raise standards, and curriculum developments.

This course provides CPD for all those who deliver Sociology, from experienced lecturers to NQTs and those teaching Sociology as a second or even third subject in their timetable.
It will include information, discussion and sharing practice based on the needs of delegates, to include presentations from teachers and visiting speakers. Content will include exam specifications, assessment objectives, subject content, and planning and pedagogy at GCSE and A level.

This series of meetings will focus on a continuation of work undertaken in previous years with further exploration of and planning for the new Computing curriculum at key stages. We will be evaluating the teaching and learning of Computing and ICT, including the use of data, ideas for delivery of Computing concepts, observations and pupil tracking systems. We will be exploring the delivery of Digital literacy both within the subject area and across the curriculum. We will be developing best practice including forging industry links, departmental systems and documentation to support learning.

Secondary Psychology Best Practice Forum
This established course provides assistance for new and experienced teachers and leaders of Psychology. This year's sessions will focus on issues such as outstanding teaching and learning in Psychology; motivating students beyond the classroom; and encouraging students to become independent learners. The facilitators have considerable experience in the delivery and assessment of AQA Specification A (the most common A level course for Psychology), but there will be opportunities to share practice across all the exam boards and specifications.
