Meeting Expectations for Writing in Year 2

Autism Bites - Sensory in autism



This 2 part course takes a look at sensory needs in autism. It is appropriate for any colleague who is interested in autism.

In part 1 we will learn about the eight senses and begin to analyse sensory needs using a questionnaire.

In Part 2 we will return to discuss the questionnaires that you have used to analyse pupil needs and discuss how to develop sensory strategies.

This course is suitable for colleagues working with children and young people aged 5 – 25.

ELSA - Emotional Literacy for Support Assistants (EVENT FULL)

The nationally established Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) course trains skilled teaching assistants to deliver interventions for emotionally vulnerable pupils. Trainee ELSAs attend 6 full training days and subsequently carry out supervised practice over the course of the year leading to ELSA certification.
