Autism Bites - Demand avoidance in autism

This course takes an introductory look at how some autistic children and young people can present with severe anxiety, demand avoidance and distressed behaviours. It is appropriate for any colleague who is interested in autism.

ELSA - Emotional Literacy for Support Assistants

The nationally established Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) course trains skilled teaching assistants to deliver interventions for emotionally vulnerable pupils. Trainee ELSAs attend 6 full training days and subsequently carry out supervised practice over the course of the year leading to ELSA certification.
