Primary Languages: Allons-y! Getting Started with Primary French

In this one-day course, delegates will have the opportunity to embed their understanding of the methodology of teaching primary languages while developing their subject knowledge in French in an interactive and engaging session, designed to turbo-boost your confidence in teaching French!

We will discuss the requirements of the national curriculum for primary languages and explore practical and engaging ways to offer an interactive and impactful French programme of study.

EYFS and KS1 Communication and Language Project: building firm foundations of oracy across the curriculum

This year we are running a communication and language project to support and embed early language development accross the curriculum in the five strands of communication.

The project group will consist of 8 to 10 schools that are based in Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire or South Gloucestershire. As part of the project, schools will receive two tailored support visits.

Maths Problem Solving and Reasoning Project: Enhancing the teaching of reasoning and problem-solving skills within your school

This year we are running a school-based maths project on problem solving and reasoning for a group of 8 to 10 schools. Schools need to be based in Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire or South Gloucestershire as part of the project includes two bespoke visits.

AET Early Years Programme: Making sense of autism (Postponed) - Reception, Nurseries, Pre-school settings and Childminders*

This course is an introduction to autism. It is most appropriate for colleagues with little or no experience of autism.

This training is suitable for any early years practitioner working in Reception, Nurseries, Pre-school settings and Childminders.

This course will be delivered online over 2 sessions and both sessions need to be attended to receive your course certificate.
