End of Key Stage 1 Annual Moderation Event - Securing Judgements

This event replaces individual school appointments to discuss teacher assessments with the moderation team

Whilst end of KS1 assessments became non-statutory from September 2023, this continues to be an important point to mark pupils’ achievements before they move into a new stage of the curriculum. Many schools will continue to rely on data at the end of year 2 to help to track the progress of their pupils and ensure resources are effectively deployed to support all cohorts, groups and individuals.
