Year 3 Getting the maths right
This half day course will support teachers in year 3 in becoming more familiar with the expectations of the maths curriculum. It will explore how to teach the tricky parts of the curriculum, how to ensure a smooth transition from year 2 into year 3 and how to challenge the more able pupils.
It will be a hands on course with many opportunities for questions and sharing practice.

Maths Subject Leader Meetings (Best Practice) - Group 1 (EVENT FULL)

This group meets three times during the year and is an opportunity for maths subject leaders to keep up to date and to share practice. Each session includes local and national updates, a chance to share resources and ideas and a training session on a key area of development such as the new curriculum, assessment and subject knowledge.

The sessions will all run from 9 - 11.30 am, with the last half an hour as 1-1 surgeries with the course leaders.
