Session 4 - SEN writing and managing the onslaught of paperwork; the vocabulary of SEN, writing reports, reviews and outcomes, managing review meetings and challenging situations.

Each session will provide opportunities to explore and question current practice.

An interactive half-day course with activities, exercises, quizzes, case studies and group work covering various problem areas encountered with medicines management and competency assessment in schools.

This session is aimed at School Administrators and Headteachers. It will ensure schools apply STP&CD rules in relation to:

• Calculating contractual hours of part time teachers
• Calculating non-teaching directed time for part time teachers
• Requiring part time teachers to attend inset/staff meetings/parents evenings, etc

This course is suitable for teachers in primary schools. 

This group meets three times during the year and is an opportunity for assessment subject leaders to keep up to date and to share practice. Each session includes local and national updates, a chance to share resources and ideas and a training session on a key area of development of assessment. This meeting is from 9 - 11.30 am with a half hour 1-1 surgery time for individual queries from 11.30 am - 12 noon.

45 minute slots with a member of the Inclusion Support Services Team. Ideal for looking at specific tasks such as EHCP referrals, individual casework, SEN management issues such as SEN policy writing, tracking progress, person centred planning and planning staff development.
