Lego Therapy

Lego Therapy is an intervention delivered by anyone and is designed to support the development of social communication skills in children with ASD, receptive and expressive language difficulties or social anxiety/ emotional difficulties. There is lots of evidence to suggest that the skills learnt are generalised into everyday life which is something that not been found before with interventions targeting social communication. Cambridge University completed a large scale study in 2013 and found that children who participated in Lego Therapy showed improvement in their social skills.
