NQT Developing Teaching and Learning Skills: English Teaching Sequence

This training session will focus on how to plan a sequence of lessons for narrative, non-fiction and poetry. Colleagues will be able to apply the sequence to all subsequent units of work across the academic year. Colleagues will also be able to develop a try/use/prove approach to planning. This will support the assessment of writing and build a robust evidence base.

Topics include CPR, dealing with an unconsciousness casualty, choking and Major Bleeding. Time is also given to discussing injuries and ailments common in the workplace, both inside and outside the school.
