This half day course is aimed at the person who is responsible for overseeing the Fire Risk Assessment and fire response plan for the school premises.
On completion of the course, each delegate will have gained a greater knowledge and understanding on what is included in a fire risk assessment and the importance it has in relation to fire safety within the school

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) come into force on 25 May 2018 introducing new rules regarding Data Protection of personal data and fines of up to £2m for Schools and Town & Parish Councils who do not comply. This is an essential introduction to GDPR so that you understand the changes in legislation and what actions you need to consider to ensure you are prepared for the change.

During the course of the year we will share best practice and support for primary science. The 3 half day sessions will include:

This series of meetings will develop staff understanding of Drama pedagogies, strategic leadership of Drama and enhance your range of activities and resources in classroom practice. Each session will have a major focus and will be a mix of practical workshops and discussion. We seek to involve performing arts professionals wherever possible, and in the past have been joined by local and national practitioners to share good, contemporary practice with us.

and activities to engage pupils in the mastery of calculation, easily adaptable for a variety of subject content. It will include advice on building a maths rich classroom and wider school

• Calculating contractual hours of part time teachers
• Calculating non-teaching directed time for part time teachers
• Requiring part time teachers to attend inset/staff meetings/parents evenings, etc
