Our CPD Programme
We offer a wide variety of professional development opportunities covering relevant and up to date topics. Our targeted professional development includes events to meet the needs of all staff including headteachers, subject leaders, deputies, business managers, administrators, assessment leads, teaching and learning support assistants, recently qualified teachers and NQTs.
Schools can construct an annual bespoke training programme for their staff from our wide menu which includes conferences, training events and networks. Our extensive programme is designed to cover a wide range of themes to ensure that you can access the support you need. This includes:
- Leadership support
- Education and pupil support
- Teaching and learning
- Health and safety
- Special educational needs
- Assessment
- Subject focused events including English, maths, science and computing
- Schools finance
- Schools HR
- Information Management Systems for schools
Conference Programme
Throughout the year our team organises conferences to enable schools to benefit from high quality keynote speakers and to network more widely with colleagues from other schools and local authorities. Conference organisation varies depending on the topic being dealt with but as well as keynote speakers these events frequently include workshops, seminars, exhibitions and teach meets. Our conference programme changes every year to address school priorities but there are some events that are held annually. These include:
Headteacher conference |
Deputy and assistant head conference |
SENCO conference |
West of England ICT conference |
Teaching assistant conference |
SEN South West |
IMS data manager conference |
IMS primary school administrator conference |
Schools finance conference |
Subject Leader / Best Practice Forum Networks
These networks are designed to develop leadership capacity to lead different aspects of the curriculum. We have a wide-ranging programme of primary networks as well as a number of secondary networks. These meet several times throughout the year to provide a regular forum for colleagues to share practice and to benefit from input on a range of pedagogical and leadership issues.
Bespoke training
Schools sometimes need training to be provided to all their staff to introduce or embed something across the school. Many of our facilitators are available to provide bespoke training for your school on site. If you have a query about this please email us at info@integra.co.uk.
If there are courses or training opportunities not included in our programme that you would be interested in please let us know. We are always happy to cater to school needs and requests.
Quality Assurance
We have a programme in place to monitor the quality of our facilitators and evaluations are analysed to ensure that the quality of events remains high. All our internal facilitators are experts in their fields and have relevant qualifications and experience. We thoroughly research other experts that contribute to our programme. Many of the facilitators running our best practice fora and networks are practitioners who can share their own practice.
Cost
The cost of each event is listed within the course information. Schools who subscribe to some of our services are entitled to discounts to relevant training events. The discounts are stated in each service’s literature and are taken off at the point of invoicing. For some services training may be included as part of the subscription or service level agreement. The services which schools may subscribe to and which attract a discount to training include School Improvement Curriculum Service, Inclusion Support, Behaviour Support, EMTAS, IMS, Schools HR, Schools Finance, Schools Health and Safety.
